I don’t even *like* olives.

My lifelong and very cherished friend-cousin Tara runs Tigerlily’s Events.  She is a wizard when it comes to lots of things, and especially when it comes to bringing people’s visions to life.  She does this in so many ways, and for so many people: for brides before and during their weddings, for theaters and families, and friends, and whole communities.  It’s a gift. A true gift. She asked if I would come and photograph some details at a “thank you” gathering for a local PTA. I’m glad I said yes, because when I got there I found so much to photograph. So much love poured into the details. So much devotion to making beautiful and meaningful gatherings.  I love it.  I love how she shows her love for people and life in the things she makes with her hands.  I love her devotion in the service of others. And I love her.

She can even make *olives* look good to me.
